Denmark's Nemhandel team released Oxalis v2.3.0 on 26 March 2026, adding support for Peppol G3 certificates and the latest Peppol and OIOUBL 2.1 schematrons. Source code is now available on the Nemhandel Git repository.

Nemhandel will remove CNAME records from its Service Metadata Locator on April 15, with a maintenance window from 17:00 to 20:00 CET. Only NAPTR records will be supported after the change.

OpenPeppol is moving SML lookup off EC-controlled domains. Access Points and SMP operators must update endpoint configuration before the old hosts stop resolving.

OpenPeppol has announced that all Peppol PKI certificates must migrate to Generation 3 (G3) by April 1, 2026, due to a platform change at DigiCert. Support for both G2 and G3 root certificates is required from February 11, 2026.
