Denmark released Oxalis reference implementation v2.3.0 on 26 March 2026. The update adds support for Peppol G3 certificates in Peppol mode and the latest mandatory Peppol and OIOUBL 2.1 schematrons (versions 1.16.0 and 1.2.13).

Denmark’s Nemhandel team released Oxalis reference implementation v2.3.0 on 26 March 2026. The source code is now available on the Nemhandel Git repository, and the implementation has been deployed to the DEMO environment.

The update addresses current demand for Peppol G3 certificate support. Oxalis now handles G3 certificates in Peppol mode, aligning with the latest certificate generation and validation requirements across the Peppol network.

The release also incorporates the newest mandatory Peppol and OIOUBL 2.1 schematrons. Specifically, it supports Peppol schematron packages version 1.16.0 and OIOUBL version 1.2.13. These schematrons define validation rules for invoice structure and content across Peppol-compliant e-invoicing systems.

Updating Oxalis

Organisations running their own Oxalis instance can update to v2.3.0 using the updated guidelines published in the Nemhandel common repository. The guidelines cover the steps needed to upgrade from earlier versions.

The release ensures that Danish Peppol participants and service providers can validate invoices against the current Peppol and OIOUBL standards without delay.
