OpenPeppol has finalised a tighter cadence for SMP refresh and trust-anchor rotation, with a binding effective date in Q4. The change reduces the maximum stale window and aligns rotation with the upcoming AUTH profile revision.
What Access Points need to ship
Most Access Points already meet the new cadence in practice. The work is in monitoring and alerting: the new rules require provable freshness, not just freshness on a good day.
