Terms of use
The basic rules for using the site, the feeds, and the newsletter.
Last updated: 2026-06-22
Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of peppolnews.com and its feeds, newsletter, and related services (together, the Service). The Service is operated by the PeppolNews desk, reachable at desk@peppolnews.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
What the Service is
PeppolNews aggregates, summarises, translates, and republishes news about Peppol and e-invoicing. Every article links to the source it draws from. Read how we publish for the editorial standards.
Editorial accuracy and no warranty
We work hard to publish only what our sources support, but we do not guarantee that any article is complete, current, or free of error. Articles are reference material, not professional advice. Do not act on a mandate timeline, a specification change, or a compliance question without checking the cited source and, where the stakes warrant it, a qualified advisor.
The Service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law we exclude all implied warranties.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to desk@peppolnews.com with the article URL and the specific claim. We log corrections and propagate them to downstream newsletters and social posts where they have already been distributed.
Source attribution and takedown
Every article links to its source(s). If you are the rights holder for a source we have cited and you want us to remove or amend a citation, write to the desk with the article URL and the original source URL. We will review the request promptly.
Your use of the content
You may read articles, share links, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link back to the source on peppolnews.com. You may not republish full articles, scrape the site at scale, train models on the corpus without permission, or use the content in a way that misrepresents the Service or its sources.
Feeds (/feed.xml and the per-section, per-audience, and per-country variants)
are provided for personal reading, for inclusion in human-curated newsreaders, and for
reasonable editorial reuse with attribution. Automated republication of full items is not
permitted.
Your conduct
You agree not to:
- Interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or its security controls.
- Probe, scan, or test the Service without prior written agreement.
- Submit content through any form (subscriptions, contact, tip-offs) that is unlawful, fraudulent, or designed to abuse another person.
- Use automated means to subscribe addresses you do not control.
Newsletter
Subscribing is voluntary and free. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can manage your preferences at any time. We may pause, change cadence of, or retire the newsletter without prior notice.
Third-party links
The Service links extensively to third-party sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither the desk nor anyone working on the Service is liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the desk harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.
Changes to the Service or these terms
We may change the Service, retire pages, or update these terms. The Last updated date above reflects the current version. If a change is material we will surface it on the home page or in the newsletter before it takes effect.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, except where consumer law gives you a mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
