FUCHS EDV Vertriebs GmbH, a Hamburg-based ERP vendor, has joined the Verband elektronische Rechnung (VeR), the German e-invoicing industry association. The company brings practical experience in integrating e-invoicing into existing business processes for mid-market companies.
FUCHS EDV supports mid-market businesses in digitizing their commercial processes. Its deLUXE-ERP platform connects inventory management and ERP with financial accounting, DATEV, EDI, e-invoicing, and document archiving. The vendor treats e-invoicing not as a standalone tool but as part of a complete business process.
Integration-first approach
With deLUXE-ERP, companies can create, check, and process electronic invoices directly from existing business workflows. This covers both incoming and outgoing invoices and includes adjacent functions like financial accounting, EDI, and document storage.
Sven H. Eilers, managing director of FUCHS EDV Vertriebs GmbH, explained the company’s perspective:
“We don’t come from e-invoicing to ERP. We come from ERP and integrate e-invoicing into the entire commercial process.”

According to FUCHS EDV, e-invoicing processes at mid-market companies are often more individual than they first appear. Different ERP structures, existing EDI connections, and financial accounting requirements must work together reliably. The company is also developing its own archiving solution for electronic invoices to handle long-term storage within existing ERP workflows.
Why the association matters
Richard Luthardt, deputy chair of VeR, welcomed the addition:
“In practice, e-invoicing is far more than the technical creation or processing of a specific invoice format. What matters is how well it integrates into a company’s existing commercial processes. With FUCHS EDV, we gain an experienced ERP vendor who brings exactly this perspective from daily work with mid-market companies.”
Richard Luthardt, Deputy Chair, Verband elektronische Rechnung (VeR)
FUCHS EDV joins VeR to exchange knowledge with other members and experts, track industry developments, and share its experience implementing e-invoicing in real-world settings. The company is particularly interested in bridging legal and technical requirements with what businesses actually need in daily operations.
VeR, founded in 2009 and based in Munich, represents the interests of service providers in electronic invoicing and document processing. The association has nearly 100 members and works to establish e-invoicing as a standard. Its goal is that companies of all sizes can take part in electronic invoice exchange safely and easily.
