Service Metadata Publisher specification that exposes how to address a Peppol participant and which documents and processes that participant accepts.

The Service Metadata Publisher (SMP) specification defines the REST API and document schemas used to discover how to route a document to a given Peppol participant. Every Access Point queries an SMP before sending an invoice to confirm endpoint, transport profile, and supported document types.
