The group will meet for a kick-off on 4 June 2026 and run through the end of 2026, with further specification and testing phases planned for 2027-2029. The initial concept phase runs through the end of 2026. Results will feed into a specification phase in 2027 and a testing and migration phase from 2027 to 2029. Separate calls for participation will open for each later phase.
Who can join
The Business Authority is seeking participants from two groups. The first is system and service vendors, plus any company that wants to automate business processes using the specification. These organisations must ensure their systems and processes align with Peppol BIS 4 requirements during the transition.
The second group is government agencies. They must verify that public financial systems, reporting, and controls continue to work and meet legal requirements after the shift to Peppol BIS 4.
The Business Authority prefers technical experts, engineers, project managers, or people with strong market knowledge and insight into business needs and technical solutions. Participants should expect 1 to 2 working meetings per month during the concept phase, plus time for preparation and document review.
How to apply
The kick-off meeting is 4 June 2026 from 13:00 to 15:30 at the Business Authority office in Copenhagen (Langelinie Allé 17, 2100 København Ø). The meeting is in-person and includes group work. The registration deadline is 18 May 2026.
