Denmark's e-invoicing forum to discuss Peppol transition and unified invoice standard

Denmark’s e-invoicing forum will convene on May 21 to review progress on e-invoicing adoption and outline plans for a unified invoice standard. The agenda covers the transition to Peppol, results of a document strategy consultation, and a new SAF-T solution on the tax authority’s platform.
Denmark’s Nemhandelsforum will meet online on May 21 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to discuss the country’s e-invoicing roadmap and infrastructure plans.
The forum will cover four main topics. First, steps to expand e-invoice adoption across Danish businesses. Second, the infrastructure strategy needed to support wider use. Third, the transition to Peppol as a single common e-invoicing standard. Fourth, results from a public consultation on document strategy.
A new project to establish a unified e-invoice standard will also be launched at the meeting. This effort aims to simplify e-invoicing for Danish companies by consolidating on one format.
SAF-T and tax authority integration
The agenda includes updates on SAF-T, Denmark’s standard audit file format. The tax authority (SKAT) will demonstrate a new SAF-T solution available on its platform and explain how to use its API.
