Moore deploys Odoo to manage electronic invoicing for 2,500 clients across Belgium

Moore, Belgium's largest independent accounting firm, has deployed Odoo's Peppol-connected invoicing platform to more than 2,500 clients across Wallonia. The solution is free, compliant, and helps accountants shift from invoice production to advisory work.

Moore, Belgium’s largest independent accounting firm, has rolled out Odoo’s electronic invoicing platform to over 2,500 clients across Wallonia. The Peppol-connected solution is free to use, fully compliant with regulations, and designed to free accountants from production work so they can focus on advisory services.

Moore, Belgium’s largest independent accounting firm, has deployed Odoo’s electronic invoicing platform to more than 2,500 clients across Wallonia. The platform connects directly to Peppol and was chosen to give small and medium-sized businesses a compliant, affordable, and easy-to-use invoicing tool.

Why Moore chose Odoo

Odoo’s invoicing solution is free when used on its own, removing cost barriers for SMEs. The platform is intuitive and operational within minutes, allowing entrepreneurs to manage invoicing without technical expertise. It also offers a direct connection to Peppol and gives both the company and accountant a complete view of financial data.

Olivier Bottequin, Managing Partner Accountancy South at Moore, said the partnership reflects a shared vision: “Odoo allows us to go far beyond a basic accounting tool. By working on a shared platform with our clients, we transform the relationship into a true partnership built on real-time data exchange and process optimization.”

Moore also valued Odoo’s modular structure. Companies can start with accounting and add features as they grow, without disrupting existing workflows. The platform is available in 140 countries and remains compliant with local regulations.

Shifting accountants toward advisory work

The deployment supports a broader shift in the accounting profession. As electronic invoicing and AI reduce time spent on invoice production, accountants have more capacity for consulting and business advisory. However, this requires access to a complete management tool and a 360-degree view of client operations.

Wynand Tastenhoye, Head of the Accounting Firms Department at Odoo, noted: “Without access to the management tool and without a 360-degree view of client operations, optimizing advisory services and adding new services becomes impossible.”

Odoo’s native integration between the accounting module and customer management tool addresses this need, allowing accountants to provide deeper support.

Implementation and rollout

Moore partnered with Squareflow, an in-house Odoo integrator, to implement and optimize the platform. In December 2025, Moore organized webinars to guide clients through setup. Today, all 2,500 clients manage their electronic invoicing through Odoo with dedicated support from Moore.

Moore operates more than 60 local offices across Belgium and serves SMEs, family-owned businesses, and management teams across taxation, legal services, corporate finance, and digital transformation.
